Gatchalian presses DepEd to accelerate hiring of teachers
FOLLOWING the Department of Budget and Management’s (DBM) approval of the creation of over 32,000 teaching positions for School Year 2026-2027, Senator Win Gatchalian renewed his call on the Department of Education (DepEd) to accelerate its hiring process and address the nationwide shortage of teachers.
