Police to charge trio for stealing P4.3M worth of solar streetlights in Iloilo
ILOILO CITY — Authorities are preparing robbery charges against three suspects allegedly involved in the theft of 129 solar-powered streetlights installed along the national highway in Santa Barbara, Iloilo. The stolen solar streetlights, owned by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), were valued at around P4.3 million, according to police estimates. The thefts affected portions of the national highway traversing Barangay Bolong Este, Bolong Oeste and Cabugao Sur. Police said
