Marcos declares 17 local holidays in June
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. declared 17 local holidays this June to mark founding anniversaries and festivities in different parts of the country, Malacañang announced Saturday. Proclamation 1268 declared June 1 as a special non-working day in Palapag, Northern Samar for the celebration of the Sumuroy Day.
