Boatwright naturalization process stalled amid Senate turmoil

MANILA, Philippines — San Miguel Beer sharpshooting import Bennie Boatwright’s naturalization process got stalled after Monday’s turmoil within the Philippine Senate. The 6-foot-10 Boatwright is being eyed as Gilas Pilipinas’ naturalized player through House Bill 6639. His naturalization citizenship was supposed to be tackled on Monday’s session. But the lack of quorum brought about by the arrest of Sen. Jinggoy Estrada prevented the proceedings from happening. The
