AirAsia Philippines debt settled – CAAP

LOW-COST carrier AirAsia Philippines has averted being banned from government-managed airports after it settled P271.94 million in unpaid obligations. After issuing a cease and desist order earlier this week, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) on Thursday said it acknowledged and appreciated the airline’s cooperation and its commitment to address the arrears. The regulator had given AirAsia Philippines up to June 6 to pay outstanding navigation charges, aircraft landing
