7.8 temblor shakes Mindanao; 31 dead
(UPDATE) THE death toll from the 7.8 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Sarangani on Monday rose to 19, initial reports said. A series of powerful aftershocks rocked the area for about two hours after the first quake hit at 7:37 a.m., with the largest registering at magnitude 6.7.
