Strong tremor hits Southern Mindanao
KIDAPAWAN CITY - A strong earthquake struck Southern Mindanao at around 7:37 a.m. on Monday, with residents in parts of Regions 10 and 12 including this city reporting the peak of the 7.8 magnitude tremor. The earthquake followed by at least two aftershocks at 7:45 and 8:53 coincided with the first day of classes in many schools across Mindanao. In Matan-ao, Davao del Sur, a school building reportedly collapsed due to the strong shaking. The tremors are also felt in Cotabato City and other parts
