Petron to expand Bataan refinery’s storage capacity

PETRON Corp. on Wednesday said it wanted to build additional storage facilities at its terminal in Limay, Bataan, as part of efforts to improve supply reliability and efficiency. In a disclosure, the company said that it was prioritizing the construction of one storage tank with a capacity of 25,000 barrels for jet A1 fuel and three additional coconut methyl ester (CME), or coconut biofuel, storage facilities with a total capacity of 48,000 liters.
