For Philippine businesses, the practical question is not whether humanoid robots will arrive in Manila but how quickly affordable Chinese systems can be imported or licensed into local operations. Labor-intensive industries—warehousing, food processing, electronics assembly, logistics, and eventually elder care—may see pressure to automate if wages rise and demand for speed increases.
