The state already coordinates agriculture through departments that manage production, trade, and market intervention, while the central bank watches food prices as part of inflation management. If farm information becomes more consistent, it can improve policy calibration, reduce speculation around harvest gaps, and help institutions better understand where interventions are needed. It may also make agri-tech startups more credible when pitching tools for precision farming, yield forecasting, or supply-chain transparency.
