New LPA spotted off Palawan, likely to enter PAR Thursday or Friday

MANILA, Philippines – A new low-pressure area (LPA) has been spotted outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), roughly 495 kilometers northwest of Pagasa Island, Kalayaan in Palawan, the national weather bureau said on Wednesday.
