PNP monitors four Independence Day rallies in Metro Manila
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday said it was monitoring four rallies within Metro Manila in celebration of the country's 128th Independence Day. In its 10 a.m. report, the Manila Police District monitored three ongoing rallies along Quezon Boulevard in Manila with 50 participants, Globo de Oro corner Quezon Blvd, Sta Cruz with 100 participants and in front of the National Library along Kalaw Ave, Ermita with the biggest number so far at 300 participants.
